Dr. Hollingdale grew up in Stittsville and attended both elementary and high school in the Stittsville community. While in school she participated in competitive basketball and soccer leagues, worked at Brown's YIG as a cashier and enjoyed spending free time with friends and family.
Dr. Hollingdale attended Acadia University in Nova Scotia to study Chemistry and later went on to complete a masters degree in Analytical Chemistry at Dalhousie University. She then conferred a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in Michigan.
Even before completing her studies, Dr. Hollingdale knew she wanted to return to her hometown. She practiced dentistry several years at a busy dental clinic in downtown Ottawa, and when the chance to move her practice to Stittsville presented itself, she jumped at the opportunity. She has renamed the dental office to pay tribute to a local Stittsville landmark, an area where she spent a great deal of time as a child.
Dr. Hollingdale is excited to bring her judgement-free, friendly and compassionate style of dentistry to her friends and neighbours in Stittsville and the surrounding area. She is enthusiastic about giving back to the community that has given her so much. When not in the office, you might find Dr. Hollingdale enjoying time outdoors with her husband and two children, shopping local or relaxing with a good book.
